Project Adult Education is an initiative by Childrenwise that aligns with United Nations Sustainable Goal 4, that is, ‘Quality Education,’ aiming to eradicate illiteracy among adults. This project aims to eradicate illiteracy among adults belonging to the age group of 18 and above by imparting literacy skills to people belonging to economically and socially deprived sections of society. We aim to fulfill our goals by establishing centers where the poor live and empower them by providing education and training for jobs.
This project was started on April 24, 2021. This project aims to prepare adults to take up jobs and earn their livelihood without facing any discrimination; it will help them achieve a sense of security in their lives. The curriculum has been prepared so that it teaches the concepts that are relatable and applicable in real life. This project has been divided into three parts- Literacy, Awareness, and Empowerment. Each level will be for four months. This will make the adults street smart and inculcate basic skills to stand amongst the crowd and fight for their rights.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics a large language ocean.
This project was started on 24th April 2021. There are 3 levels to the project which are Literacy, Awareness and Empowerment respectively.
